This blog is a collection of stuff from the life-long journey of Daniel DeMoss.
Daniel's in transit, and each one of these posts is a stop on the way. Enjoy the journey.

The sun slowly set on a beautiful day of hiking at the Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge in Oklahoma.
The Bricktown canal in Oklahoma City gets drained and cleaned out once every few years. I decided to jump in.
Daniel - preview
So, I’ve been having some more practice with off camera flashes and my own personal lenses vs borrowed ones.
This time my buddy and co-worker Daniel agreed to model for me. He’s a climber and an awesome dude and it was definitely fun to shoot him around Bricktown and downtown Oklahoma City.
I will be uploading the rest of the set on Flickr later today or tomorrow.

This is a very unique view of America in the late 1930’s and early 1940’s. These are some of the only color photographs taken of America’s rural and small towns during the depression. Click here or on the photo for more of the pictures.
Stairs to nowhere. I found these on Shartel Avenue. I wish I knew what was there before those stairs became so lonely.
I saw this door and thought it was unique. Another cool find on NW 23rd Street.
This old car sits in the parking lot behind my apartment building. I’m not sure if it runs or not. My neighbor says he’s fixing it up. I think it looks cool with my Hipstamatic app.
The AT&T building downtown is pretty monolithic looking at night. The lack of many windows adds to its strong and silent nature.
The B.C. Clark Jewelers store downtown is nice and bright at night. It’s nestled neatly between Kerr Park and the Skirvin Hotel.
I’ll be honest. I was a little creeped out by this alley. It didn’t help that I decided to explore it around 11 o’clock at night. Nevertheless, you reap the benefit of my crazy. Enjoy the picture.
