This blog is a collection of stuff from the life-long journey of Daniel DeMoss.
Daniel's in transit, and each one of these posts is a stop on the way. Enjoy the journey.

I’ll be honest. I was a little creeped out by this alley. It didn’t help that I decided to explore it around 11 o’clock at night. Nevertheless, you reap the benefit of my crazy. Enjoy the picture.

Oh, the pretty columns. Can anybody tell me what kind of columns these are? Hint: The typical column types are Doric, Ionic and Corinthian.

I found this overgrown alley in my neighborhood and thought it looked neat. I love the alleys I find. Some of them are oft used and others are so overgrown they’re impassable.

The Classen is this really awesome apartment tower in my neighborhood. It’s a bit out of place, as it’s the only tower in the neighborhood. That makes it special. It looks really cool during the day, too.

The moon looks awesome next to the First National Building at night. The OKC skyline is pretty nice. I’m a fan.

Yup, this is my intersection. Well, I guess it’s not mine, per se, but I use it a lot. I drive through it every day, walk through it quite often and bike through it sometimes too. It’s my gateway to NW 23rd and all the delicious things the district holds for me.

There’s a store on NW 23rd Street that’s been “going out of business” for over a year now. Perhaps they’ve just discovered that “going out of business” sales attract customers. Ha.Bonus: There’s a random mannequin upper body in this picture.

The backside of the Betty-Lou apartments looks pretty neat at night.

Here are some pictures that I took of a very unique parking garage I found downtown. As near as I can figure, people would pull their cars up to the front, an attendant would drive the car onto the elevator and take the car to another level where they’d park it. By the time I discovered it, the elevator systems seemed to be in pretty bad disrepair. It looks like the owner just sells leases for the ten-or-so spots that used to serve as the waiting spots. It’s such a cool concept. I hope someday it’s restored to its original functionality.

I used Hipstamatic to make them look old-timey. I hope you like them.
